DESCRIPTION:This WWF initiative invites people to turn off their lights between 8.30pm and 9.30pm GMT to raise awareness of climate change and the natural world. Around the world 7\,000 towns and cities switch off and in London lots of famous landmarks take part: Big Ben\, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace have all gone dark in previous years. This year the organisation are looking to achieve the UK's largest simultaneous candlelit dinner party\, with swanky restaurants such as The Savoy\, River Cottage and OXO Tower Restaurant taking part. They've also teamed up with Food Made Good to provide people with information about where they can enjoy sustainably sourced food during the event.
